Share your great and interesting bird pictures

Lots of wonderful photos weer taken on the Grenfell Survey weekend but that is not the only weekend in the year when beautiful/curious birds are captured in wonderful poses.  Send your bird pictures to us (info@birdingnsw.org.au)  and we will put them up in the gallery.  Medium sized pictures are preferred.  Hi resolution is better but we will take all pix.

‘Conserving Threatened Shorebirds at Sawtell, NSW: A Practitioner’s Perspective’.

Be sure you are at the next monthly meeting, just a couple weeks away -May 1 2018, to hear Martin Smith on ‘Conserving Threatened Shorebirds at Sawtell, NSW: A Practitioner’s Perspective’.

 

‘Martin Smith has worked as a lighthouse keeper, checkout chick, fruit picker, forestry labourer and as a clerk for the NSW Department of Leisure prior to joining the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service in 1983. He graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney sometime last century. He has been the Ranger in charge of Bongil Bongil National Park, located between Bellingen and Sawtell on the beautiful NSW North Coast since its inception in 1997. Martin currently lives off the grid in the mountains near Dorrigo, surrounded by World Heritage Area forests, and lots of birds’.
