to attend our monthly meetings, which include guest speakers, trip programmes
and unusual bird sightings.
SYDNEY
Meetings are held at 7.30 pm on the first Tuesday of every month in the Mitchell Theatre,
Level 1, Sydney Mechanics School of Arts, 280 Pitt Street, Sydney.
Situated between Park and Bathurst Streets. Closest train stations Town Hall and Museum. Closest car parking stations World Square and Piccadilly. Doors open 7.00 pm.

CENTRAL COAST
Meetings are held on the fourth
Tuesday of every month at 7.30 pm Progress Hall, Anzac Rd, Tuggerah (opposite McDonalds) Tuggerah.
Trips
There are activities on
most weekends with outings ranging from half days to sites in Sydney, to midweek
trips, to camp-outs and overseas tours. Accommodation can vary from camping
to motel/hotel.
Newsletter
A bi-monthly newsletter
is circulated to members and is filled with articles on outings and tours,
surveys and conservation topics.
Conservation
Conservation of birds
habitat is essential. The club actively encourages participation in surveys
and conservation projects. Birding NSW is represented on the committee of the
Nature Conservation Council--the peak conservation group in NSW.
