Saturday 23 September Birding NSW’s Key Biodiversity Areas Project: Grenfell Bird Survey. The twenty third survey will take place weather permitting. Previous and new surveyors are welcome. We hope to have the usual activities around the survey. If you would like to take part and are not already on the list, for further information please contact activities@birdingnsw.org.au

Wednesday 27 September Midweek Outing:  Warriewood Wetlands and Irrawong Reserve. Meet at 8:30 am in the picnic area at the corner of Katoa Close and Garden Street, Warriewood. Easy walking along level trails and boardwalks. Lunch at cars. Booking in advance is required by emailing activities@birdingnsw.org.au

Saturday 30 September Central Coast Outing: Pearl Beach, Warrah Trig, Patonga. Meet at 8.30 am at Tourmaline Ave, Pearl Beach, Central Coast UBD map 116, G9. Lunch at cars. Booking is required by contacting the leader.

Saturday 30 September – Monday 2 October Long Weekend Club Campout: Riverina area. An opportunity to visit the wetlands and woodlands in the area around Griffith and Leeton which are renowned for bird watching. There are two caravan parks in Leeton both of which have cabins and powered and unpowered campsites. There are several hotels and motels as well as B&Bs in the area but book early to avoid disappointment. Meet at 8.30 am at the car park at the entrance Fivebough Swamp in Petersham Road, Leeton. Booking in advance is necessary to get the latest arrangements by emailing activities@birdingnsw.org.au
