 Saturday 27 June Central Coast Outing: Kitchener
Meet at 8.30 am at the Shell Servo, Freemans Drive, Freemans Waterhole. Take the Kurri Kurri, Cessnock exit off M1, servo is approximately 3.2km along on right. Lunch at cars. Book by contacting the leader.

South West Slopes Bird Surveys
Twenty-seventh bird survey weekend around Grenfell on September 25-27, 2026
Please join us for the next survey weekend around Grenfell New surveyors are always welcome. In small groups, we carry out 20 minute 2 hectare surveys on about 30 sites including many on private properties around Grenfell. The survey takes place on Saturday morning but the rest of the weekend is free for birding. We meet for dinner at a restaurant in Grenfell on Friday evening and have a barbecue on a private property on Saturday evening. Grenfell is five hours’ drive west of Sydney. Accommodation is available in hotels, a motel and bed and breakfast places as well as in the caravan park. It is advisable to book accommodation early.
