Saturday 6 December Christmas Outing: Scheyville National Park and Mitchell Park. Meet at 8:30 am at the corner of Whitmore and Pitt Town Dural Roads, Maraylya. Flat but sometimes uneven walking tracks. Christmas picnic lunch will be in the first picnic area in Mitchell Park at about 12.30 pm. Booking via activities@birdingnsw.org.au

Saturday December 13 Christmas Outing. Mardi and Tuggerah. Meet 7.30 am at Murrumbung Homestead, 32 Valley Way Mardi for an early morning walk. After the walk we will drive to Central Coast Wetlands for morning tea followed by birding.BYO lunch in the picnic shelters. Book by contacting the leaders

Christmas 2025 to New Year 2026 Club CampoutCoolah Tops National Park. A campout has been arranged at Coolah Tops National Park. Temperatures will be pleasant because of the high altitude and nights will be cool for sleeping. Please note that the access road is steep and could be rough if it has not been graded recently. Many of the roads within the park are closed during wet weather. Access to the main camping area at the Barracks is suitable for all vehicles with care. Turn off the Coolah-Merriwa Road about 4 km east of Coolah then travel about 30 km to the park. Bring everything that you need including drinking water. There is a pit-toilet at the campsite. Please note that it is necessary to book a campsite on the NSW National Parks website. Booking in advance is required by emailing activities@birdingnsw.org.au

Wednesday 28 January Midweek Outing: Deep Creek Reserve and Warriewood Wetlands. Meet at 8:30 am in the carpark at Deep Creek Reserve off Wakehurst Parkway, Elanora Heights. Saturday 7 February – Club Outing. Lake Belvedere, Brick Pit  and Waterbird Refuge. Meet at 8.30 am at Parking Area P10D at Belvedere Lake, Bicentennial Park.. Proceed through the main gates, along the road past the Conference Centre until the lake is on your left-hand side. The parking area is on the right, just after crossing the bridge. Manning River Wetlands Weekend Saturday 14 February – Sunday 15 February: Taree, Harrington and Old Bar area. A weekend campout will be held in the Manning Valley based in Taree. Bird watching will be within the Manning River Valley including the estuary of the Manning River at Harrington and at Farquhar Inlet at Old Bar. Activities on Saturday will be around Harrington. Sunday will be on the southern side of the river including Old Bar. Booking in advance is required by emailing activities@birdingnsw.org.au
