Manning River Wetlands Weekend Saturday 14 February – Sunday 15 February: Taree, Harrington and Old Bar area. 
A weekend campout will be held in the Manning Valley based in Taree. Bird watching will be within the Manning River Valley including the estuary of the Manning River at Harrington and at Farquhar Inlet at Old Bar. Activities on Saturday will be around Harrington. Sunday will be on the southern side of the river including Old Bar. Booking in advance is required by emailing activities@birdingnsw.org.au

Wednesday 25 February Midweek Outing. Wattle Forest, Royal National Park. 
Meet at 8.30 am at Wattle Forest Picnic Area near Audley. Turn into Lady Carrington Drive at Audley, then right over the timber bridge to the western side of the river. Turn left and meet at the last car park. Note that National Park fees apply. Booking in advance is required by emailing activities@birdingnsw.org.au

Saturday 28 February Central Coast Outing. Ash Island. 
Meet at 8.30am at Minmi Oval. Newcastle UBD map 113, P16 Lunch at cars. Booking in advance is required by contacting the leader.

Wednesday 11 March Central Coast Half Day Outing: San Remo. 
Meet at 8.30 am at the corner of Richardson and Wills Roads, San Remo. Central Coast UBD map 31, N3 Lunch at cars. Book by contacting the leader.

Grenfell Bird Survey – March 20 to 22, 2026. The next bird survey at Grenfell will be 20th to 22nd March 2026. Anyone wishing to join the Grenfell survey or learn more about it should contact activities@birdingnsw.org.au

Friday 3 April – Monday 6 April Easter Club Campout: Riverina area.
An opportunity to visit the wetlands and woodlands in the area around Griffith and Leeton which are renowned for bird watching. There are two caravan parks in Leeton both of which have cabins and powered and unpowered campsites. There are several hotels and motels as well as B&Bs in the area but book early to avoid disappointment. Booking in advance is necessary by emailing activities@birdingnsw.org.au to receive the latest arrangements
